Rental Agreement
Welcome to Gateway Totes. These terms and conditions apply to all tote rentals provided by our service. We are committed to making your move as efficient and sustainable as possible. Please note that our service operates on a zero-deposit model, meaning you can secure your professional-grade moving equipment without upfront security fees. By placing a reservation, you agree to the policies outlined in this agreement.
Replacement Fees
Lost or badly damaged totes impact our ability to serve other customers. In the event a Gateway Tote is not returned or is returned in a condition beyond repair, an invoice will be issued for the replacement fee. This ensures our zero-deposit model remains sustainable for everyone.

Customer Responsibilities
Care & Handling
Customers are expected to care for totes as if they were their own. This includes keeping them secure, dry, and away from potential contaminants or high-heat sources that could warp the industrial-grade plastic.
Condition
Totes must be returned in a clean, reusable condition. Please ensure lids are snapped shut and all labels or marks not provided by Gateway Totes are removed prior to the scheduled pickup time.
Returns
Punctuality is key for our zero-cardboard logistics. Retaining totes past the scheduled return date without prior approval will result in extended rental fees or replacement charges as per our policy.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY
Gateway Totes shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, or theft of items packed within the rented totes. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that items are packed securely and that the totes are properly closed. Furthermore, Gateway Totes is not responsible for any delays in delivery or pickup caused by traffic conditions, severe weather, or other factors beyond our reasonable control. Our services are provided without a deposit model, and usage constitutes agreement that our liability is limited to the value of the rental service provided.
